Connecting People to Jesus since 1954

40 Days of Lent

Lent sharpens our focus on what God has given to us through the cross of Christ. For us, that starts when the law of God brings into stark view what has caused his bloody death: our sins.
Last Lenten worship service will be next Wednesday, March 29 at 7pm

Palm Sunday

              April 2 at 10:00a
Christian worshippers           celebrate the trumphal entry of     Jesus Christ into Jerusalem,
an event that took place one             week before the Lord’s                                  death…

Maundy Thursday

On the first Thursday, after they had eaten,
Jesus gave the disciples his body and blood
together with the bread and wine
for the forgiveness of their sins.
Holy Communion or the Eucharist,
we believe this to be one
of two sacraments — gifts from God.

Good Friday

On Good Friday, we reflect on the events leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion. We examine how the crucifixion of Jesus Christ is connected to our own lives by reading scripture passages that describe his arrest, trial, and death.
